- Are you an experienced SAR Winch Paramedic/ Hoist Operator looking for a dynamic and rewarding opportunity? TARCG Aviation is seeking dedicated professionals to join our clients team in lifesaving operations across the Republic of Ireland.

We are looking for individuals who will be responsible to the Aircraft Commander, assisting in the safe and efficient execution of flights in support of critical Search and Rescue (SAR) operations. This role requires candidates to carry out the duties of a SAR Winch Paramedic and Hoist Operator, maintaining all necessary competencies and certifications for both disciplines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Critical SAR Operations: Assist in all flights across Ireland, ensuring that lifesaving operations are carried out to the highest standards.
- Maintain Safety and Readiness: Proactively raise any safety issues and ensure that all flight equipment, including medical and rescue systems, is fully prepared for each mission.
- Work with a Team: Collaborate with fellow crew members, including the Aircraft Commander, Hoist Operators, and other stakeholders, fostering a safe and professional working environment.
- Clinical Expertise: As a SAR Winch Paramedic, maintain your professional registration, CPD, and clinical skills in line with the company's Clinical Governance and PHECC requirements.
- Flight and Duty Management: Accurately log flying hours and duty periods to ensure compliance with Flight Time Limitations, and contribute to pre- and post-flight briefings and debriefings.
- Provide Exceptional Service: Act as an ambassador for both TARCG Aviation and the Irish Coast Guard, representing us with professionalism and integrity at all times.
To be considered, you must meet the following requirements:
- Current EASA Class 2 Medical
- PHECC registration at the Paramedic level
- A minimum of 3 months of experience as a Paramedic in a similar operational environment
- 3 years of experience on a dedicated SAR unit as helicopter Technical Crew
- 100 hours of operating experience in helicopters in a similar operational environment

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work collaboratively in high-pressure situations
- Eligible to live and work in Ireland or able to obtain the necessary permits
