- Job Title: Leasing Broker/Executive
Location: Surrey
Contract: Permanent
An entry-level role, where you will learn about all aspects of ACMI leasing. This will involve working with senior brokers in the ACMI leasing team on short and long term ACMI enquiries and fixtures. You will also be actively engaging with customers and supplier airlines via phone, e-mail and meeting in-person with a desire to win business. After initial training you will be able to learn and develop skills as an ACMI broker working actively as part of a global team to develop your career.
During the summer months (April to October) this role will need to work every other Saturday (9.00am to 5.30pm) with a day off provided in the week.
Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:
- Relevant experience in a sales, broking, commercial or aviation environment (can be from airlines, airport or related aviation industry sectors)
- Highly target driven individual, motivated to ‘Win’ business
- Comfortable and confident making calls to third parties for business development and availability purposes
- Demonstrate resilience and able to respond effectively to pressure and ‘bounce back’ from challenges and obstacles
- Precise and accurate data entry, with an attention to detail
- Willing and able to travel to meet clients and suppliers worldwide
- Able to work flexibly with different time zones worldwide outside of office hours as required.
- Have a passion for or an interest in aviation.
