Sam started TARCG in 2016 with his brother Jack O’Brien, now TARCG’s Chief Commercial Officer, after noticing an opportunity to revolutionise the staffing and recruiting industry within aviation. His main responsibility is to ensure the execution of TARCG’s short term and long-term strategy whilst leading the day to day management decisions of the company.

Sam is a family-oriented people person with strong integrity and a burning desire to ensure success, values all of which run deep within the culture of TARCG and our employees. Sam started his aviation career in 2005 as a licensed aircraft engineer and soon progressed into many other areas within the industry, globally, working with companies such as Flybe, Austrian Airlines and AMMROC.

He has vast experience in areas of aviation including operations, airport, MRO, military, commercial, cargo/freight, private, leasing and many more. In his spare time, Sam loves to eat great food with great people, read books like crazy and windsurf on holidays in the sun.
